State Budget 2022: CM Bommai gave a comprehensive development to Bangalore



BANGALORE: Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai is presenting his debut budget for 2022-23. The budget size stood at Rs 2,53,165 crore, up 7.7 per cent from the previous year.

Basavaraja Bommai, who favors the overall development of Bangalore, has earmarked Rs 8,409 crore for the overall development of Bangalore city. He has also been recognized for the development of Bangalore infrastructure, road development, grade separator, pond, waterway, park, waste management and slum development under Amrit Nagar.

Allocation of Bangalore Development Comprehensive Development Grant is as follows.
* 33 km metro line will be added in 2022-23. The 58.19km metro line from the Central Silk Board to the airport will be commissioned and completed by 2025.
* The Metro Hantra-3 project will be submitted to the Center for approval at a cost of Rs 11,250 crore. 32 km Ring Road from Hebbal to JP City and 13 km from Hoshalli to Kadabage
* DPR for the construction of 36 km of new road at a cost of Rs.15,000 from 2022-23 to Sarjapur, Agara, Koramangala, Dairy Circle, 37 km long.
* Skywalk at Banashankari Junction at a cost of Rs 45 crores
* Metro station connectivity with subways at Whitefield, KR Puram, Yashwantpur, Jnanabharathi and Yelahanka stations at a cost of Rs 55 crore (Suburban Railway)
* Rs 21,091 crore already approved for land acquisition cost of 73km peripheral ring road.
* BBMP BDA Joint Work on Construction of Goreguntepalya Grade Separator Bridge
* BDA completes land acquisition process for Kempegowda development
* Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Construction Banashankari 2nd Stage Anjanapur Plantation Road, Sewerage Works at a cost of Rs 404 crore from BDA to be handed over
* Singapore-style Green Expo construction on 105 acres of the city's NGEF
* Legal action under Land Revenue Code to register six lakh 'B' accounts with A's
* Suburban railway project to be completed by 2026 with a cost of Rs 15,267 crore.
* The Cauvery Phase 5 is in effect at a cost of Rs 5,550 crore to bring 775 million liters of Cauvery water to the city and will be completed by 2024-25.
1500 crores cost for upgrading of old waste water treatment plants
* 312 crore TG village to utilize 1.7 tmc of water from Oovinholo
Koramangala Palace has been developed at a cost of Rs 195 crore
1,500 crores for the development of a power station to prevent the flooding of the city
* Build a 500 bed capacity super specialty hospital in 4 parts of the city
89 crore earmarked to develop Bangalore Public School
* Plans for development of Madiwala Lake - Elemalallappasheti Lake
