38 deaths due to corona today, 3,202 positive
out of 1,293 in Bengaluru
The third wave of corona continues to decline in the state, 3,202 new positives have been reported in the last 24 hours. The number of infected has increased to 39,24,297.
The Health and Family Welfare Department said in a statement that the death toll in the state has risen to 39613 with 38 deaths.
A total of 1,293 cases of infection have been reported in Bengaluru today. With this, the number of infected in the city has increased to 17,69,809. According to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, 10 people died of corona in the city today.
There are 8988 infected persons in the state who have been cured and discharged from the hospital. With this, the number of people recovering from the infection has gone up to 38,45,903. There are 38747 active cases.
With the daily Covid positivity rate in the state at 2.95 per cent, the death toll has increased by a fraction. As of 1.18.
Further decline in corona cases in India: 50 deaths

New Delhi: India's malaria epidemic is decreasing day by day with 50,407 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday, out of which 804 people have died.
The total number of Kovid cases in the country increased to 4,25,86,544. With this, the death toll from Kovid increased to 5,04,866.
With a steady decline in the number of infected in the country, the number of active cases has reached 6,10,443.
In the last 24 hours, 1,36,962 people have been cured and so far the number of people who have been cured has reached 4,14,68,120.
According to ICMR, Corona has tested 14,91,678 people and 74,78,70,047 people in India so far.
On 16 January, Prime Minister Modi launched home-made Cowshield and Covaxin corona vaccine in India, claiming that the first priority of the vaccine was to fight corona warriors, risking their lives. Then all citizens over the age of 45 were vaccinated. The vaccine is being offered to all 18-45 year olds from May 1.
According to central government data, 1,72,29,47,688 people have been vaccinated since the start of the vaccine campaign.
