Statewide property registration rate reduced, 10% rebate: Minister R Ashok
Bengaluru: The Revenue Department has announced a special concession on property registration in view of the economic condition of the people in view of Kovid-19.
Talking to reporters in the city today, Revenue Minister R Ashok said that the government is giving concession to the public on the first day of the new year. People can take advantage of this facility from today.
This will reduce the financial returns of the government. But it will benefit lakhs of people.
Farmers who have done agreement and GPA can now register the property. Registration guideline rates for agricultural land, non-agricultural land, housing, buildings, apartments and all other types of immovable property. reduced by 10 percent. Ashok said that this discount is available only from January 1 to the end of March.
