Karnataka, Nov 22 : Dr. Anandaneeswara, the founder of the Annadhaneshwara Sanctuary of Halakere, in the Gajendragad taluk of Gadag district. Abhinava Annadana Swamiji (85) is a Lingayak. He is the son of Dr. Jagadguru, a resident of Kottoor Math, Hosapete Taluk of Vijayanagar District. Dr. Bhagwat was also on the pedestal of Sangana Basava Mahaswamy. Dr. Krishnan Nair is a resident of Halakere, Gajendragad Taluk, Gadag District. Abhinava Annadana Swamijis has been diagnosed with heart disease at a private hospital in Bangalore. The funeral will take place on Tuesday (Nov. 23) evening at Halakere Village. The monastery has 28 branch monasteries, and on November 10, the new three-year-old Basavalinga Swamiji took over as the 13th president of Halakeri.

Dr. Abhinava Annadana Swamiji had set up educational institutions in Hosapet, Bellary, Gadag, Bagalkot and provided rice, charkha and dasa to the poor. Srees, who worked hard on the welfare of the Basavanas, was not only confined to the monastery but had populist issues.

The Shivayogam Mandir Swamiji Training Center is the center of the great Swamijis of Nadi. The Shiva Yoga Center celebrated its centenary during the tenure of Sangana Basava Swamiji. At present, Shiva Yogamdars are training for 50 people. Swamiji opposed the separate Lingayat fight. The Guru Viratakarsa convention was held in the Shiva Yoga as an alternative to Lingayat's separate struggle. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai and former Chief Minister BS Vasudeva Yeddyurappa, Minister c. C. Patiala, Govinda Karajola and others visited the hospital on Monday morning to receive a final glimpse of the body of Lord Annadaneswara Mahaswamy, the abbot of Sri Annadaneswara Sastra Math in Halakere.
